14. Start the treatment on a small area until the ORANGE LED light turns ON (Fig. 31), indicating the optimal skin temperature was reached. This can take 2-3 minutes. Once achieving the orange indication, continue working on this area and maintain the orange light on for a few more seconds. Then (within 10 seconds) the operator should expand the treatment area; move to an adjacent area and continue the treatment to achieve the ORANGE LED light there as well.

Achieving and Maintaining the ORANGE LED Light
To achieve and maintain the ORANGE LED light, all four electrodes must maintain contact with the skin, and the circular orfigureeightmovementsshouldbemaintainedatamoderateandsteadyspeed. Whenthespeedofthemovement is too fast, the ORANGE LED will not turn on and the optimal skin temperature will not be reached. When having difficulty achieving or maintaining the ORANGE LED, slow down the movement while ensuring the customer is not experiencing any discomfort.
Note: Each time you extend your movements over adjacent treatment area, the BLUE LED light will turn back on until the optimal skin temperature is reached, and the ORANGE LED light turns on again. This process repeats as you continue to extend your movements over the entire treatment area.
15. Continue extending the movements until the entire treatment area is covered.
16. Repeat steps 13-15 for the rest of the treatment areas.
Note: When skin temperature reaches 40°C, the Blue LED changes to Green LED and RF energy transmission is halted to prevent skin overheating. Continue the treatment, the RF energy will automatically re-emit once the skin temperature will decrease below 40°C and the Blue LED will turn on again.
During the treatment, erythema (redness) and /or edema (swelling) may develop in the treated skin and are expected to an extent (circled in Fig. 32). These signs are indications of the heating process.

17. Monitor customer sensation verbally and regularly throughout the treatment.
18. In order to change settings during the treatment, the handpiece needs to be switched OFF (by pressing the “start” button) and the BLUE LED will turn blinking GREEN. A message will appear on the screen with duration options to EDIT or continue treatment. Press EDIT to revert to the TriPollar RF treatment screen for change of duration settings on the screen with options to EDIT or continue treatment. Press EDIT to revert to the TriPollar RF treatment screen for change of these settings.
