2. Once the User Manual has been thoroughly reviewed and the TriPollar procedure video has been viewed, identify the treatment areas and divide the face into treatment areas as shown in Fig. 23.
3. Apply hypoallergenic nitrile gloves (latex and powder free) and change gloves as needed throughout the treatment process.
4. Verify that all jewelry, piercings, or glasses are removed before the treatment (if applicable).
5. Aesthetician should not apply topical anesthetic before treatment and also verify the customer did
not use topical anesthetic.
6. Clean and thoroughly dry the skin before treatment.
7. Apply a pea size amount of TriPollar Preparation Gel on the treated area. Make sure to close the gel
container after usage.
Warning: Use only Pollogen’s TriPollar Preparation Gel and verify its expiry date prior to use. The expiry date appears on the gel container followed by the letters “EXP.”.
Note: Before first treatment with the TriPollar Preparation Gel, perform a patch test with the gel on a small area of skin (Forearm, 2"x2"). This will ensure the skin does not have a negative reaction (excessive redness and/or swelling) to the gel.
 8. Spread evenly the gel on the treated area creating a thin layer (Fig. 24).
9. Select “TriPollar” from the home screen (circled in Fig. 25) to advance to TriPollar RF treatment screen.
10. TriPollar RF treatment screen will open with treatment parameters set to default value of 100% RF output power and a default of duration of 20 minutes. You are able to distinguish the operating level chosen as it is shown against a bright background color (see Fig. 26). Treatment duration is expressed in minutes next to the clock
icon   and reads 20 minutes. The RF output power is displayed in
Fig. 24
  percentage and remains at a constant maximum RF output power capability of the system next to the lightning   icon and reads 100% (see Fig. 26).
