Safety Instructions and Contraindications Precautionary Definitions
The safety instructions found in this section and throughout this manual are indicated by specific terms. Familiarize with the terms and definitions before operating this system.
• ‘WARNING’ details possible safety infractions that will potentially cause serious injury and may damage the equipment as well.
• ‘CAUTION’ details possible safety infractions that could have the potential to damage the equipment.
• ‘NOTE’ details helpful information regarding specific functions.
The system is designed for a safe and reliable treatment when used in proper operation and maintenance. The operator and all other personnel operating or maintaining the system should be familiar with the safety information provided.
Warnings
Warnings relating to GENEO X System
• Makesuretousetheoriginaltreatmentkits(OxyPods,PrimerGelandSerum),toavoidpotentialsideeffects and complications.
• OnlyqualifiedpersonnelareallowedtooperateGENEOXanditsHandpieces.Topreventusebyunqualified personnel, turn the system OFF when not in use.
• BeforeattemptingtooperatetheGENEOXsystem,besuretoreadthismanualandbecomefamiliarwithall safety requirements and operating procedures. Question the participants about the contraindications to determine participant suitability for the treatment.
• Keepthehandpiecesandsystemclean.Seecleaninginstructionsineachsection.
• Customers should remove glasses and all jewelry (including piercings) prior to treatment.
• Donotusesystemonanyofthefollowingareas:thyroidarea,breasts,groin,genitals,armpits,below
the eyebrows, over the eyelids or eyeballs.
• The GENEO X Handpieces are designed to operate with GENEO X system. All safety features
incorporated in the system serve as the handpiece safety features. Do not try to connect the GENEO X
handpieces to other systems.
• Handpieces must be properly connected to the system and locked before activation.
• Toavoidcontaminationbetweencustomers,keepthehandpiecesandsystemcleanaccordingto
cleaning instructions of each part.
• Informationaboutthenatureofthetreatmentanditsexpectedresultsshouldbeprovidedtothe
customer prior to treatment commencement.
• Only qualified personnel are allowed to operate GENEO X and its Handpieces. To prevent use by
unqualified personnel, turn the system OFF when not in use.
• Before attempting to operate the GENEO X system, be sure to read this manual and become
familiar with all safety requirements and operating procedures.
• Use GENEO X for its intended purpose only, as described in this user manual. The manufacturer will
not be held responsible for any damage or injury resulting from improper or careless use.
• When the GENEO X system is plugged in, never leave it unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Only authorized customer service center and/or technician can repair the system and touch the inner
parts of the system. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. No modification of equipment is allowed!
• Use GENEO X only with the original supplied power cord, power supply, handpieces, and
massager head.
• Before use, verify GENEO X and its accessories show no visible damage.
• Do not operate if the power cord is damaged and/or system parts are disassembled.
