• In the event of defects or malfunction, switch the system off immediately, advise troubleshooting
section and call customer service center as needed.

• Do not operate, place or store GENEO X near any water source nor clean it under running water.
• Do not touch the system should it fall into water. Unplug the power cord immediately with dry hands.
• Beforecleaningormaintenance,firstturntheGENEOXoff,thenunplugthepowersupplyfrom
electrical outlet.
• Incaseofuncertaintyregardingpotentialsideeffects,havethecustomersconsulttheirphysicianand
provide a written consent form for the treatment.
• Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it
could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, both equipment should be observed to
verify that they are operating normally.
• DonotpositionGENEOXinawaythatwillmakeitdifficulttooperatethedisconnectiondevicewhen
an appliance coupler or separable plug is used as isolation means.
• PortableandmobilesystemsareconsideredRFcommunicationequipmentandmayaffect
the operation of the GENEO X system.
• Do not use GENEO X system near systems that might cause electromagnetic interference. Such
interference may be caused by electro surgery, diathermy, magnetic resonance imaging, short-wave
microwave therapy equipment or other type of equipment.
• DonotoperatetheGENEOXsystemandfollowtroubleshootingsectionofthisUserManualifscreen
display is impaired or disrupted (e.g., burned pixels, display is “stuck” or “frozen”).
• Alwaystakeproperprecautionsasdescribedinthismanual,whilemakingsuretoconstantlybeaware
of the possible risks.
Warnings relating specifically to TriPollar RF Handpiece
Safety and effectiveness of the device was not tested in the following conditions or anatomical locations; therefore, DO NOT use GENEO X TRIPOLLAR RF HANDPIECE under the following circumstances:
• Aestheticianshouldnotapplytopicalanestheticbeforetreatmentandalsoverifythecustomerdidnotusetopicalanesthetic.
• Heat sensation should be verbally monitored throughout the treatment.
• Do not use mineral-based oils for treatment.
• Pollogen’s GENEO X TriPollar Preparation Gel is to be used during TriPollar RF treatment according
to instructions for external use only. Do not use other gels with the TriPollar RF handpiece.
• Usingpowerthatishigherthanneededorlongertreatmentsessionscancauseover-treatmenttothe
skin and lead to undesired results.
• To avoid the risk of potential burns, the handpiece must always be in constant movement during
treatment and in full contact with the skin.
• Do not treat the eyelids due to the potential damage to the eye structures.
• Donottreattheeyebrows,eyeballs,lips,ears,thyroid,breasts,orgenitalarea.
• Do not use on subjects without total facial hair removal, it may result in follicular burn in these areas.
• It is NOT advised for customers that:
- Have severe, deep wrinkles.
- Have moderate wrinkles under the chin
The customer should be screened for suitability by utilizing the Customer Screening Checklist provided in Appendix D of this User Manual prior to conducting treatment.
Fire Hazards
• Donotusethesysteminthepresenceofexplosivesorhighlyflammablematerialsasalcohol, methanol, acetone, etc.
• Do not have flammable substances in the treatment room while preparing the skin for treatment.
• If alcohol is used for disinfection, it should be allowed to dry thoroughly before the GENEO X is used
and then set a distance from the system.
