Cautions
• Verify you shut down the system (the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position) before connecting or disconnecting the handpieces.
• Before connecting the power supply to the system, make sure all connections are tightly secured.
• Do not disconnect any of the system’s components or accessories while the system is turned on.
• Do not pull the power cord or the system to unplug the unit from electrical outlet.
• Switch off the system before moving it.
• Incasethestarthandpiecebutton,orthetouchscreenarenonresponsive,discontinue treatment and follow the troubleshooting section. However, the RF handpiece buttons are deactivated.
• Checkallconnectionsbeforeplugginginthesystem’spowercord.
• IfuponperformingsoftwareversionupdateusingaUSBplug,anerrormessageisdisplayedregarding
wrong or incomplete update, restart the system in accordance with the troubleshooting section of this
User Manual.
• Pay attention to the screen quality during the first few seconds of the system check.
• Make sure the touch screen and the handpiece start button are operating properly (+ /- buttons on the RF handpiece are deactivated).
Safety Features
• To start the treatment, handpiece Switch must be pressed by the operator.
• The system automatically identifies handpiece connection and distinguishes between handpieces.
• A Temperature Sensor automatically terminates application of RF energy when skin temperature
exceeds endpoint temperature.
Contraindications
Do not TriPollar RF treatments on a person who has one or more of the following conditions:
• Under18yearsofage.
• Current or history of skin cancer or pre-malignant moles.
• Pregnant or nursing.
• Any active skin conditions within the applied area, such as sores, eczema, rash, fragile, swollen, burnt or
injured skin, rosacea, dermatitis, or psoriasis.
• Rashaswellasexcessively/freshlytannedskinwithinthelastfewdays.
• Vascular disorders such as: telangiectasia, varicose veins, thrombosis, phlebitis in the applied area.
• Severeconcurrentdiseasesuchas:uncontrolleddiabetes,neurologicaldisorders,epilepsy,lupus,
cardiac disorder, and cancer. In such cases, consult a physician.
• Received any aesthetic procedure within the past 6 months such as: mesotherapy, peeling,
resurfacing, fillers, gold/plastic threads, fat implants or products such as Accutane or Retin A.
• Known allergies to cosmetics/other products (including glycerin), or severe allergic reactions like hives.
• ImpairedimmunesystemduetoimmunosuppressivediseasessuchasAIDSandHIVoruseof
immunosuppressive medications.
• Skin disorders history such as keloid scarring, abnormal wound healing, and very dry and irritated skin.
• Any surgical, invasive, ablative procedure on treated area before complete healing.
• As per practitioner’s discretion, refrain from treating any condition which may be unsafe for customer.
In addition, do not perform TriPollar RF treatments on a person who has one or more of the following conditions:
• Pacemaker or internal defibrillator, implanted neurostimulators or any other internal electric system.
• Metal implants in the treated area.
• History of bleeding coagulopathies or chronic use of anticoagulants.
