three persons, a Trinity or different entities, and neither is God. Modern Trinitarian Theology agrees with Pagan Greek, Egyptian, Babylonian, and Canaanite Theology. Then in what way does the multiple Trinitarian “elohim/Gods” differ from other Pagan “elohim/Gods” who operate together in one pantheon? The great universal Pagan Triad evolved and mutated into the non-Biblical Forth Century Roman Catholic Trinity theory.
The ancient term “Elohim” (which really should be I AM) was applied to the Messiah (Christ), this also proves that this term does not mean a plurality or Trinity of divine Persons. Elohim/God was sold for thirty pieces of silver (Zech. 14:4, 12, 13); Elohim/God was pierced at Calvary (Zech. 12:10, Acts 20:28); Elohim/God is coming back as only one King (Zech. 14:5). Do Trinitarians teach or believe that three divine Persons or different gods were betrayed, crucified, and are coming back again? These verses are talking about only One God. There are not three Jesus Messiahs. In addition, these verses are calling Jesus God just like the verse Isaiah 9:6 that clearly is talking about Jesus which uses the term Elohim and literally says that Jesus is “the mighty God/Elohim” “the everlasting Father/God”. If Genesis 1:26 is or was originally talking about three gods, then why is the singular term “image” used in this verse instead of “images?” Because this verse has been altered like Matthew 28:19 that uses the singular “Name” instead of the plural names! God’s singular ancient Name should be put back in this text and the pluralistic Alexandrian translation of this Text “let us” needs to be restored to a singular reading for a better more pure original reading of this Biblical Text.
The Hebrew term Echad-one: One does not mean one?
Echad the Hebrew word for one: Trinitarians insist that "Echad" cannot mean an absolute one alone, but rather it can only signify a compound-unity or many things in one. One verse that is used to try and create this illusion is Numbers 13:23. "Then they came to the valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one (echad) cluster of grapes,..." Another verse that is used is Genesis 1:5 which refers to the first day, which is only one day, but is, made up of evening and the morning. Today we see a day, as a 24-hour period made up of morning, noon and evening but it still is only one day and not three days. Yet other verses taken out of context are Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." "One flesh" is talking about sexual union between a man and a woman. "Giving in marriage," - Matt. 24:38. "And Adam knew Eve his wife: and she conceived and bare Cain,.." - Gen.4:1. Giving in marriage, knew and becoming "One flesh" are all synonymous Biblical terms for sexual intercourse or mating. The sex act does not prove that God is a Trinity. This hardly is a defense or proof of a trinity or that the one God is a compound unity. God is not a human creation he is the Creator. He is not "one flesh" or having sexual union with or like any of His creation.
From these verses, Trinitarians contend, it is clear that the Hebrew word echad can only mean a fusion of a number of things into one. Although this "Proof" is as flawed as the
