Christology ♦ 127 or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Hinv
and for Him" (Colossians 1:15-16).
What does the expression, "from God the Father, and our LordJesus Christ" mean? (See Galatians 1:3.) The Greek word for "and" is "kai" meaning "even." Therefore, when you translate the Greek into English, this verse literally says, "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, even our Lord Jesus Christ." There is no twoness, threeness, nor any otherplu rality in the Greek or original text. The same explanation applies to other scriptures where "kai" is used. (See Philemon 1:23; Colossians 1:23; I Thessalonians 1:1; I Thessalonians 3:12,13.)
Those who belittle Christ and teach that He is no more than any other ordinary man with His own body (person), soul, spirit, deny the power of the God-Man: Emmanuel. He was offered up by the eternal Spirit (the Father) for all mankind. (See Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-14; John 8:24-27; I John 5:20; n Corinthians 5:19).
Let us remember that from eternity, the Word of God was the invisible imageandformofGod. Fromeverlasting,GodhasWordandSpirit(breath of life) in His nature. Furthermore, whenever God acts. He breathes Spirit and emanates W ord (Psalm 33:5-6).

Thereis one throne in heaven. Revelation 4:2, and only one is sitting on that one throne (Revelation 4:8,9; Romans 14:10; Revelation 3:21). Jesus is called Lor ,

earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and His name one" (Zecharia 14:9).
Paul's doctrine concerning the revelation of Christ is plainly establish"^ in Colossians 2:8-9. He said, "Beware lest any man spoil you through p losophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of * ® world, and not after Christ. For in Him (Christ the Son) dwelleth all t e
fullness of the Godhead bodily." God cannot be Emmanuel without
and Christ cannot be complete without God the Father in Him (Psalm 33. 6; 2:1-4; John 12:44-45).
