Soundless joy came to Tekle with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He spent his days in prayer, praise and witnessing. He felt the love of God burning intensely in his heart, and often he prayed through the night. On Oc tober 11, a month after his Spirit baptism, he had a vi sion of a hand extended from heaven holding out a Bible to him. The voice he heard came so definitely and vividly that he would remember the exact words from that time on.
'T have chosen you to preach My word to Ethiopia. Do not become a salaried preacher as long as you live. Do not let missionaries snare you with money; and until I reveal the right church to you, do not affiliate with any religious organization. If you hold fast to My promise in Matthew 6:24-34,1 will bless you richly on earth, as I did Abraham, and give you everlasting life when this life is over."
