Libraries and Learning

Rio Rancho Public Libraries offer programs for every
age, including concerts, genealogical research classes,
fiction chats, wild mustang visits, free help with your
tax return, and a popular annual celebration of Dr.
Seuss’s birthday. Program facilities at the Loma
Colorado Main Library include an auditorium, confer-
ence room children’s program room and an adjacent
fenced patio. Both the auditorium and conference
room are available for rental when not in
use for library programs.

Esther Bone Memorial Library hosts a rotating art exhibit and offers adult, teen
and children’s programs. Two study rooms are available for member use. Libraries

Swimming classes for all ages and levels of difficulty are available year-round, in

addition to aqua fitness and aqua therapy classes, lap swimmng, recreational
swimming and drop-in kayaking. Cabezon Outdoor Pool, Haynes Park and
Rainbow Outdoor Pools operate seasonally and all centers offer lessons and pool rental.
