4. First draft
Abraham Lincoln is considered a role model for Americans for the following reasons. First, since

Abraham Lincoln was only a child, he had a difficult childhood. His parents did not have enough

money, they were poor. He realized his situation and studied hard every day in school. Second, when
he finished his studies, he became a lawyer. He realized the reality of his country and he wanted to be

president. Unfortunately, he did not win the elections but that did not stop him to keep trying. He tried
over and over again until the fifth time he tried, he won and became the president of the United States
