Prerequisite : None
Corequisite : None
Theories and Techniques of Cryptography, symmetric and asymmetric
encryption, cryptographic Techniques in computer networks, security threats and
vulnerabilities. Authentication mechanism, identification and security in the operating
system and applications. Intrusion prevention and intrusion detection systems information,
access control, security management of information systems, vulnerability analysis, risk
management, procedures for assessing potential risks to data and computer systems,
disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
DGE-404 Algorithms and Architectures for Geoinformatics 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : None
Corequisite : None
Geography is a computer science used to manage geographic information. Course
content includes analysis of remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS),
computer-based mapping, and other systems. Students will learn about data structures
and programming for geographic use including related architectures in software system
design and how to design new software systems. This course will focus on project work and
programming.
DGE-405 Digital Bioinformatics 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : None
Corequisite : None
This course covers various principles of the processing of basic biological
information. Management of genetic databases, algorithms, tools and applications for
biological data processing, various methods for computational biology. Sequence analysis
and genetic structure, and applications related to genetic and protein analysis.
DGE-406 Computer Animation and Digital Gamification 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : None
Corequisite : None
The Course content includes object modeling in three dimensions and the
basics of animation techniques. Three-dimensional simulation consists of logical curves and
surfaces. The relationship of curves and surface. Basic knowledge of design. Shadowing
and surface properties, and describing the animation process. Theory and principles of
game design endowed with practice to understand each stage of game production. Content
covers rapid prototyping. Theory of mechanics and dynamics Continuity theory of the game
nature of fun balancing the game and the appropriate user interface design for the game.
