A little later, and John Stones finally sells to market
TRADE 12 SETTLED
LOSER!

Sold at £1.86p
Fall: -3p
Credited to Account £9.11
LOSS 34p
Considering some of his teammates’ prices are nosediving after last night’s heavy defeat we
have no complaints about taking a small hit. Yes, a 100% track record would have been
great.
But we’re real world traders, not vanity traders, so we tell it like it is. And one of the things
we find ourselves saying a lot is, “Keep your losses small. Be impatient with them. The first
cut is often the cheapest.”
So on to the final reckoning.
We decide to keep Ronaldo. Here’s why. His price is up nicely: We bought at £8.97, he’s
currently at £9.34, and with more big fixtures for his big team coming soon, and every
possibility of more dividends, we reckon he’s a keeper, for now.
Jamie Vardy also remains in our portfolio. He’s currently at £1.11 (having been as high as
£1.17 during the week) and we’re holding because we believe that between now and the end
of the season, followed by the start of World Cup fever, he’s in with a good chance of
climbing to his previous high of £1.50 a share, he’s still value.
