VLSI MAKE-A-THON 2
The VLSI Research group of School of Electronics Engineering at VIT
University, Chennai, is organizing a 24 hours VLSI Make-a-Thon for
imparting and igniting the research interest for the students. This
technical quest will provide opportunity for students to explore on the
capabilities of various EDA tools for the design and verification of
VLSI Full/Semi Custom IC. This event consist of five different levels
of challenges, participants are expected to complete each level
successfully in order to move up to the next level. The degree of
challenge will increase as they go up the level. The participants will
be evaluated in each level by two evaluators. The evaluation is done
on the design methodology used, innovative ideas on solving the
problem and the time taken for the design. The top three scorers will
awarded_prizes.
74 students participated from SENSE and SELECT schools.
Participants were actively involved and did their best. First Prize
winner is Team 1, Second Prize winner is Team 7, Third prize was
shared by two teams – Team 9 & 19. Mr. Sreenath Thangarajan is
the one who won the free online course offered by VERIFAST
Technologies.
