A guest lecture on the topic “Future trends in IoT based
Automation” was conducted on 14 of August 2017 by Mr. Arul
Rajkumar, Vice President-IT Operations, Ford Technology
Services India Ltd., This guest lecture was organized by
Dr.V.Berlin Hency and Dr. D.Vydeki. Around 35 students from
fourth year B. tech attended the lecture. Various components
involved in IoT based car automation and the challenges faced in
developing such intelligent transport system were discussed.
A guest lecture on the topic “SOC Design Flow and DFT” was
conducted on 13 of October 2017 by Mr. P. Radhakrishnan, Senior
Director, Applied Micro. This guest lecture was organized by Dr. P.
Augusta Sophy. Around 80 students from fourth year B. tech
attended the lecture. The real issues and scenario in the industry
were demonstrated in the lecture.
