Project :- LECTURE ON TOBACCO SMOKING DRUG ABUSE , ADDICTION & AFTER
EFFECTS. (DUM MARO DUM) VENUE:- KBP Degree college, Nehru Nagar, Road No.
16 V, Behind Fire Brigade, Wagle Estate, Thane west. SCHEDULE:- 11.00 am onwards.
SPEAKER :- Rtn. Dr. Lucky Kasat. Consultant Paediatric Surgeon & Anti-Drug
Campaigner. Friends this was an initiative of President Rajendra Zende which was also
need of the hour to educate college going students on the topic of Drug Abuse, Addiction
& after effects of the same. Dr. Lucky Kasat conducted his presentation on Drug abuse,
Tobacco & Smoking in a very professional way driving down the message very effectively
to the very Vulnerable age group of 16 to 19 years. Dr. Kasat stressed on the various
statistics as on today related to smoking in our country, the various ways & causes of
getting addicted, the various types of cancer associated due to smoking and also the
ways of coming out of this addiction. He presented to the students thru some short films
in between and made the whole lecture very interesting to all. In all a very effective talk
which shall definitely leave a lasting impact on young minds. Club President 2019-20:-
