SATURDAY IN THE HISTORY OF RCTMT. EVENT NO. 1 : - SUN SALUTATION
(SURYA NAMASKAR YAGYNA) TIME:- 6 am VENUE:- Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania
School Ground, Pokhran Road No. 1, Thane west. RCTMT In association with THANE
VAIBHAV pulled out a great effort which shall definitely make it to the World records. The
Sun Salutation (Surya Namskar Yagna) which is an annual event of Thane Vaibhav was
this year joined by RCTMT in an effort to take it to new heights. In all a total of 2246
students were a part of the event which was conducted on a chilly winter morning. The
Thane Police commissioner graced the occasion as the chief guest & was witness to
2246 students under the age group of 13 years of age performing 24 rounds of the 12
Step Surya Namaskar a total of 288 steps simultaneously at one location which in itself
has never been performed anywhere till date. All the above facts were documented &
recorded in the presence of 2 gazetted officers of the local government body, which is a
pre requisite for proposing the event to be included in the Limca Book of World Record.
The entire credit for the capturing the whole event on Camera on behalf of RCTMT goes
to Rtn. Santoesh Bade, Rtn. Chhaya Zende, ably supported by Rtn. Shirish Pathak.
Sincere Thanks to Rtn. Jaywant Sakhdeo for sponsoring Biscuits for all the participating
children, Rtn. Harishbhai Agarwal, Rtn. Viren Tipnis, Rtn. Nanubhai Mehta for the
financial assistance provided to make the event successful. The Event got a very food
