CODE OF DISCIPLINE
DISCIPLINE, HARMONY & FAIRNESS IN HANDLING PEOPLE
(The Company and its management are mandated to run the Hotel business enterprise. In discharging this
serious obligation, it must seek efficiency in all aspects of the operation of the company. It must prevent all
forms of loses, such as low productivity, wastage of materials or loss of man hours. It must safeguard all
assets and interests of the company. More than this, it must ensure the growth and continual existence of
the company. It is the company’s right and duty therefore to enforce rules concerning employees’ behavior
and performance of their jobs. All employees will be bound by the company’s Code of Discipline.
CODE OF DISCIPLINE
The Code of Discipline is a mechanism where expected norms of conduct are clearly defined to ensure
consistency, objectivity and efficiency in managing the company. This is a communication tool designed to
instill discipline, harmony and fairness in handling people. It is, therefore, a very effective reminder of what
we continuously aim for, that is, to be an organization that has respect and consideration for one another.
OBJECTIVES
The Code of Discipline aims to promote, ensure and achieve the following:
1. To understand and internalize the conduct expected of (The Company) employees and staff deployed
to its service.
2. To ensure that corrective actions are consistent, objective and fair.
3. To provide constructive measures for employees to realize and learn from their mistakes.
SCOPE
(The Company) Code of Discipline shall apply to all employees regardless of employment status and rank,
and shall cover all violations committed while at work, within the company premises or on assigned project
areas. Accordingly, this code shall apply to any and all of the following:
• Contractual Employees
• Project Employees
• On-call Employees
PROCEDURES
1. Upon receipt of a written or verbal report of a violation of the Code of Discipline, the Department Head
together with the Supervisor concerned shall conduct a preliminary investigation:
a) The Department Head shall inform the employee in writing of the events that had occurred and
referring specifically to the provision of the Code that was violated, with an instruction requiring the
employee involved to explain his side in writing within 24 hours from receipt of the Memo.
