O sing to the Lord a new song. For He has done wonderful things. His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory.

What a blessing
It was for me
When Melvin told me His testimony
Not only of war
But betrayal too
That took place after Vietnam was through
What years of hurts And abuse took place On his road to Finding God's grace
Through the patient love Of Bessie his rnate Jesus' love came in
And replaced the hate
Now Melvin's years
Of substance abuse
Is turned around for God's purpose and use
The Bible says don't Look back from the plow Melvin learned that and He's a healer now
His haunted past
Of by gone days Are erased and we Give God the praise
What a blessing It was for me This testimony of Melvin's victory
