In shock and awe
And it inspired me
To write yet again
About Vietnam
Where your sorrows began
Not to bring back Hurts that you feel No, just the opposite Ron, to help you heal
Ron I'm so proud of You for what you did Dear God Ron Holz You were just a kid
You fought a whole Nation's war
And you have no idea Of the hero you are
Yes I know the story Of you and Gary too And I am so proud
Of the both of you
Two brothers went to war And only one came back But Gary lives through you Ron you know it's a fact
