Basic Burial Services include private family viewing, same day visitation &
ceremony, cremation if selected, followed by graveside, as appropriate,
customary printed materials and STAAB online obituary/media services. The
®
viewing of an un-embalmed body presents health and safety concerns for the client family,
visitors, and our staff. These concerns, including time, trauma, decomposition,
autopsy, pathogens, and bodily fluids, limit our ability to perform all the tasks
needed to prepare for viewing. These tasks are to bathe, shave, style hair, restore,
apply cosmetics, clothe, etc. To uphold the sanctity of human life, the body shall
be posed, respectfully covered and casketed for viewing.

FuNERAL/BuRIAL MERCHANdISE

Caskets are uniquely chosen to reverently hold the deceased for the purpose of
viewing and the transition from the funeral home or place of worship to the
cemetery or crematory. Outer burial containers include both warrantied burial
vaults and a minimum concrete box. Client families who prefer long term security
and integrity of the gravesite choose a warrantied burial vault which exceeds
cemetery regulations – unlike a non-warrantied minimum concrete box required
by most cemeteries.
Warranties, if any, are claims made by the manufacturer, not Staab Funeral Home .
