The next day, Mr. Pardeshi and the Yogi visited the neighborhood temple of Shree Shanidev (Saturn) called Shanipar Temple near Pune’s main vegetable market called Mandai. This temple is still present at the same place. At the sametime,myfatherwasinthetemple. Heusedtovisitthere just after his tutoring at the house of GovindaDaji Joshi (Lakade) opposite to the temple (This house stands there to- date). On seeing my father, Mr. Pardeshi tried to introduce my father to the Yogi. My father immediately felt attraction to the Yogi and prostrated on his feet. The Yogi told Mr. Pardeshi that he had known my father for the last five births and he had been guiding him. My father instantly felt totally satisfied. The Yogi asked my father to meet the Yogi at night on that day. From that moment, my father became devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba. Some period after the first meeting, Shree Krishnanatha Maharaj asked my father to start a Thursday Arati prayers where other devotees could gather and get a benefit of their spiritual development, and resolve their problems. Krishnanatha Maharaj himself attended many of these Prayer events and my father continued this Thursday prayer till the end of his life. I was lucky to attend all the Thursday prayers during my two decades stay in Pune during my father’s life. I myself witnessed some people who were helped and then I heard of some stories from my mother. Also, some mystical events took place that I am very well aware of. There are possibly hundreds of such events that can be described. But, I shall describe only a few of them.
