once gave me Pedha in this way and that is described earlier (cf:His Spiritual Evolution).
It was very interesting to see the relationship between my father and my mother. On one hand, she loved him dearly and also acknowledged his sainthood. But, on the other hand, she was finding it hard to be tolerant, peaceful and patient as much as he was. She would loose her balance often and complain about his not providing for what she wanted for the family and not for herself. She would also complain that he had the capability to obtain more material things, but he was ignoring it. She would complain that he was not strict with his disciples who took undue advantage of him and who were rude to him. But, in the end, she accepted his status in the spirituality and also served him with love till the end of his life. She told me that she was the only person present near him when he left his body. She also was confident that he would provide for her after his death till the end of her life and she would never have to look to people for her needs. Also, my father had told me several times that my mother was fiery and would stay somewhat unstable during his life. But, she would become calm only after he dies. This did happen. I know for sure that my father loved my mother and he helped in many house chores when it was not common for an Indian husband to help his wife in those days and even today. He almost shared half of the house chores.
