One day, when I was a high school student, I noticed a new person came to the Thursday Arati prayer. His name was Mr. Korde. I observed that he was very sincere, but serious while doing the prayers. He also bowed to my father in a very devout way after the prayers. He started coming each Thursday since then. One Thursday, when we returned to home after the Arati prayer, my father told me that Mr. Korde was a Palmist astrologer. He had a desire to go to Mauritius where he wanted to evaluate the palms of blind people. He was attending the Thursday prayers to get blessings from my father and those of Sai Baba via my father, so he could get an opportunity to go to Mauritius. My father told me that Mr. Korde had noticed three horizontal lines on my father’s forehead and knew that my father was a fully realized Yogi. My father told me that a person who has these three lines completely from the left to right on the forehead is a very advanced Yogi indeed. I found that the lines on Krishnanatha Maharaj’s forehead were extremely strong. I met Mr. Korde after 10 years. By then he had visited the Mauritius. He was very keen on seeing the lines on my palms, so I showed my hand to him. I think on the same occasion, my father told me that there are two types of astrologers. The first one is created by studying hard and makes prediction based on lines on the palms or horoscope showing the planetary positions. The second one, which is superior, are those who can tell you the future just by seeing you. And, he also told me that there is one kind of advanced Yogi who can change the future via prayers to God. Of course, my father was the third kind. But, he never advertised himself and never made use of his ability for money, name and fame. I know for sure that the ability of such non-usage is one of the most difficult things for any accomplished Yogi.
