if one does calculations of his income in the light of family needs, there would be no logical explanation for this fulfillment. [1939 to 1988].
Vinayak’s three daughters were married and bore children. He was able to fulfill all his duties in that respect. However, as I observed, he never got entangled in his daughters’ family affairs. His fourth daughter was born with low intelligence. This was due to the difficulties that my mother faced during her pregnancies (cf:Miscellaneous). Vinayak loved this daughter and never treated her harshly. But, after her age of 18, she had to be put in an institution for the mentally handicapped.
His son (myself) was extremely promising in his studies. Vinayak loved him dearly and always inspired him to study well and become financially stable. My father noticed my strong inborn interest in Yoga and associated subjects. He seemed to know almost everything about my future. He told me very clearly that I should focus on my studies and stability, and that I did not need to worry about progress in Yoga as that was automatically going to happen. His words came true, fully, after 40 years.
My studies progressed at high speed and my ambitions demanded expenses that were multiple times my father’s income. However, he never stopped me from my studies and he told me that all the arrangements for my studies would be fulfilled due the blessings of Shirdi Saibaba (who was my father’s main deity after the meeting with his guru, Shree Krishnanatha Maharaj). From my age of 13 onwards, till my master’s degree graduation in Aerospace Engineering, I never had any problems with money needed for my education.
