What did they die for?
We all have heard about those brave souls who sacrificed themselves for our country but if we
exclude two days from the calendar, they are hardly remembered by any of us.
Let us take a moment and try to imagine, what was that dream that de-
manded their soul, to come true? What did they expect from us? Was it
the condition we are living in? No!!! they died for an independent In-
dia but is India independent.? How can we say a country is independ-
ent if a girl has to keep a pepper spray with her and had to think 100
times before she steps out of the house after dark?
Is our country independent if money can buy result of a class XII
Board Exam candidate?
Is our country independent if our protector is standing in a tem-
perature of 55°C & not getting enough food, and are suspended
if they try to explain their condition?
Each day why do we find a baby girl lying in a dustbin and a
daughter-in-law being physically abused at her in-law home.
