Animal — Golden Monkey
Habitat — Restricted to highland forest, especially near bamboo.
Location — Central Africa, south-west Uganda, north-west Rwanda and in the eastern
democratic republic of Congo.
Diet — Consist mainly of leaves, fruits and insects.
Social Behavior — Live in groups of up to 30 individuals.
Size — Adult male: 83 cm, Adult female: 74 cm.
Weight — Male: 20kg, Female: 10kg.
Movement — Winter groups: 70, Summer Groups:300.
Endangered — Golden hair, Hunted: Coats made.
Protection — Reserve, Sanctuaries.
