Kaiserschmarrn



             Also known as "Emporers Trifle" this dish is a true staple in Viennese cuisine and

            can not only be served as dessert but also as a main course. And: It is really easy to

            make.


            Ingredients:



                  6 eggs- 6 Eier

                  350–400 ml milk- 350-400 ml Milch
                  180–200 g finely ground flour- 180-200 g glattes Mehl

                  3 tbsp crystal sugar - 3 Tl Kristallzucker

                  1 packet (8g) vanilla sugar – 1 Packung Vanillezucker

                  some grated lemon rind- geriebene Zitronenschale
                  a pinch of salt- eine Prise Salz

                  approx. 50 g butter - circa 50g Butter

                  icing sugar and cinnamon– Staubzucker und Zimt



















            Separate the eggs and place the yolks in a mixing bowl.
            Trenne die Eier in Eiklar und Dotter und gebe die Dotter in eine Schüssel.
