EXERCISE 2: Identifying Stakeholders: 30 mins
Working in your teams of 3 to 5 and referring to the Business Value Practitioner
Case Study Part 1, select one business outcome that this customer wants to
achieve. For your selected business outcome:
• Determine which stakeholders may be involved in attaining this outcome
using the list of customer personnel and also considering your own team
members (AM, SA, etc)
• Create a Stakeholder Power / Interest Grid and based upon the information
available to you, map your stakeholders to the correct position on the grid
• Discuss a group how you might validate these positions, and how you might
use the grid to help create a stakeholder management plan
