● Bimodal IT requires two modes of IT – where each mode is designed
to develop and deliver technology- and information- intensive
services in an optimised manner:

− Mode 1 is traditional, focussed on safety, accuracy, rigour & efficiency
− Mode 2 is exploratory, focussed on agility, speed, information & innovation
