launched Russia’s first excavator

EKG-18M

A new domestic excavator EKG-18M was solemnly commissioned
at the Bachatsky coalmine, JSC UK Kuzbassrazrezugol (an enterprise
of the raw materials complex UMMC). In honor of the upcoming
300th anniversary of the opening of Kuzbass, which will be
celebrated in 2021, the machine is assigned the number 300.
Qualitative changes aimed at improving the reliability, resource
of the machine and the safety of work affected most of the
main components, structures and systems of the excavator.
At the same time, engineers applied the most advanced
technical solutions. In EKG-18M, the mechanism for
opening the bottom of the bucket was modernized, which
allows to reduce the cycle of its unloading in a dump truck, work was done to improve the
design of the boom and running carriage. The changes also affected the body: its tightness,
safety were increased, conditions that are more comfortable were created for the driver. An
information-diagnostic system has been installed that provides reliable control
of the operation of the nodes and protects the excavator from operation in
overload conditions. The EKG-18M is equipped with a Red Kill Zone alarm
zone signaling system that increases the safety of mining in the dark, and
is equipped with a dual-monitor video surveillance system that allows
you to simultaneously monitor the engine room, work equipment,
cable reel and dead zones of the excavator. Protection against
fires is provided by the automatic fire extinguishing system
TUNGUS of Kuzbass production.

EAEU countries will submit proposals on the

unimpeded movement of goods by August 1

"The EEC Council ordered to submit
proposals to the commission before August 1 to
the draft action plan to create conditions for the
unimpeded movement of Union goods from the
territory of one country to another, which does
not have a common border with any of the EAEU
Member States, taking into account the control of
transportation using electronic navigation seal"

that one of the obstacles to the movement of
goods on the market of the EAEU countries could
be the introduction of a ban on the export of
scrap and waste non-ferrous and ferrous metals
from Kazakhstan. "This obstacle was highlighted
by Russia in the framework of consultations of the deputy ministers of the Union countries
together with the EEC. This requirement was included in the draft order". On the introduction
of a ban on the export from Kazakhstan of scrap and waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals,
"which applied to the countries of the union," explained in the text.
