As Tom finished his question and answer period, Corin came back into the room. Tom stared at Mr. New Jersey waiting for him to ask his question as Corin arrived at his seat.

“Good job, Tom,” he said, looking at Tom with a slight smile. Tom and Paul started on opposite sides of the room passing
out envelopes as Corin spoke.
“The envelope you are now receiving contains the guts of
this operation. I have made it foolproof. There are simple in- structions explaining exactly what to do with the software. Once its placed into the hardware, there are also instructions to get you online quickly. I expect each of you to be back at your home base by not later than day after tomorrow. I monitor your systems from a map similar to the one on the screen. I expect everyone to be online by not later than 0900 hours Central Standard Time day after tomorrow, regardless of where you are. From that mo- ment, any business or communication we transact will be secure online. The stuff I had installed for you to practice with will be dismantled and destroyed by 2330 hours Central Standard Time day after tomorrow. I will be monitoring my equipment the mo- ment you leave this room. Anyone not online in time will inherit severe penalties. Any questions you have should be asked be- fore you leave this room.”
“Should we put someone new on the computer?” asked Mr. Florida.
“It doesn’t matter as long as you trust him. If you get the word to abort, do so without question or hesitation. Your life and livelihood will always depend on speed. So when it’s time to move, do it. This will be a paperless system so keep nothing written
