A hand went up from Mr. Texas.
“How much different will the hardware and software we have been using differ from this new stuff?”
“It will be very similar. The purpose of the old stuff was to get you ready for the new stuff with a few new things added. It’s nothing to be afraid of. Just come online and conduct business as usual.”
“What about email messages. Will we still have to use code?”
“No. You can send them in the clear. We now have VGS, which is an international standard in security that scrambles our messages when sent and unscrambles them upon receipt auto- matically. Basically you can say what you want. One very important note, make damn sure none of you start buying up large items with cash. Everyone came to their feet as Corin left the room followed by Tom and Paul.
“Not bad, guys,” said Corin, leaving the room. “Not bad at all.”
One of the men who had appeared behind the trio walked ahead opening the door for them.
“I took the liberty of installing equipment in my office,” said Corin, “to assist with your presentation.”
Paul walked in following Tom and walked directly to the equip- ment checking brand names and shaking his head wishing he could afford it as his own.
