As the manager went into another room, the woman took a seat. A few moments later, the manager emerged from the room with Sienna following him. Sienna was closing the door as the woman stood up.
“Mrs. Key your daughter was looking everywhere for you,” the manager stated.
“Daughter!” Sienna said spotting the woman. “I don’t know who she is, but she definitely is not my mother!”
“Doesn’t really matter. You won’t need her anymore,” said the woman, pulling a silenced automatic from her purse. “You don’t have to turn around. I’d rather look into your eyes and do this,” said the woman.
Boom! Boom! Two 9mm bullets went through the glass win- dow, showering the room with glass and coming to rest in the killer’s back. The killer fired once into the floor as she turned and fell dead. Jennifer reached the door and opened it as Sienna jumped over the woman’s body to embrace her stepmother.
“Mama!” she cried, jumping into Jennifer’s arms with tears in her eyes. “I thought you would never come.”
“It’s okay, honey, I’m here.
“Gotta go guys,” said Visara, arriving breathless to the of- fice. “We can talk about this later. “Sir,” she addressed the manager, “the police will be here to take care of this but we have to go.”
The three took off at a dead run on the third floor as the mall filled with panic.
“When we get out of here, follow me. There is no time to lose, Visara ordered.
“Let’s go,” said Jennifer, as Sienna grabbed her hand.
“If we get separated, Sienna knows where my car is,” Visara told Jennifer.
The entire mall was in an uproar from the gunshots. Some people knelt, some lay on the floor. The vast majority screamed, panicked, and ran. All three of the women finally left the mall
