“How many people in there?” “Two.”
“Armed or not?”
“Armed!”
“Do you know where the tube is that goes underground?” “No.”
“You just reduced your fuckups for life to one.”
“Yes, I know where it is,” the driver interrupted.”
“Good boy, Craig noted. “Now when we go in, you call the others to you and I’ll just hold on to this pocket cannon for you.”
Then he relieved the driver of his pistol.
“Let’s go. You now have one fuckup to go. Now move, he said, shoving the driver toward the door.
The driver unlocked the door and walked in with Craig be- hind him, who quickly jumped behind a partition close to the door and motioned the driver to call his buddies.
The driver felt like screaming or trying to warn his friends, but a look at the eyes behind the black mask narrowed his op- tions to one.
“Hey guys, said the driver, “Come here. You’ve got to hear this one.”
Craig looked intently at his captive’s eyes as one man came from the driver’s right front and another from his left. Immedi- ately the driver looked at him.
Craig jumped from his concealed position pinning the driver against the door with a gun to his head. Both men jumped back startled and thrusting their hands in the air. Craig’s right hand pointed a rifle toward the two men in front of him as his left hand rested with his pistol lodged against the driver’s right eye socket.
“Go ahead, be stupid,” Craig told the man directly to his front, who was looking as if he wanted to retrieve his heart that had just escaped from his chest.
“You, pushing the gun into the side of the man’s head. Open the door now!”
