Sr. Delegates from Target at Texlan Center

Target Corporation, Minneapolis, MN, operates more than International market over the years. Interloop Team
1,800 stores throughout the United States and has been thanked the delegates for visiting Texlan Center and
working with Interloop Limited since 2015. On 26 March, vouched for having a healthy business relationship

Pakistan were welcomed at Texlan Center, Interloop’s Sri
Lankan affiliate, by Musadaq Zulqarnain, CEO Interloop
Limited; Shelley Rider, President & Brian Ullmann, Sales
Director Key Accounts, Interloop North America; Aqeel
Ahmed, AVP Hosiery Operations Interloop Limited and
Irfan Nazir, Plant Head, Texlan Center.
The purpose of Target team’s visit was to gain better
understanding of Interloop’s management philosophy and
best practices based on Lean manufacturing principles.
The Plant Head briefed the visitors about the company and
showed them Knit-to-Pack operations. The Target team
was fascinated by Interloop’s Lean implementation Irfan Nazir, Plant Head showing socks to Chris Vierig,
procedures and the reputation Interloop has earned in the Senior Sourcing Manager Target on the knitting floor

Texlan Managers Get Together

The Texlan Center management planned an overnight get
together on 7 April, 2018 at Hotel Riu, south of Sri Lanka.
Hotel Riu in Ahungalla, is located on a magnificent beach,
set against stunning vistas. The warm welcome from the
hotel staff and pleasing environment of the Hotel
refreshed the managers and they immediately switched to
relaxation mode.

After savoring an excellent buffet lunch, high tea in the
evening and a sumptuous dinner at night, the managers
enjoyed live music and Riu’s staff dance performances.
The overnight stay was revitalizing and uplifted their
mood. Next morning, the group visited Galle fort, 41 Kms
from Hotel Riu. It is a historical, archaeological and
architectural heritage monument in Sri Lanka, extensively From left to right
fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. Although, it Dilruk (Driver), Imtiaz Ahamed, Nirosh De Silva, Farhan Afzal, Adnan
was a short excursion but provided good entertainment Mushtaq, Bilal Iqbal, Irfan Nazir, Shahnawaz Muhammad, Mohamed
and helped in improving mutual understanding among the Ifthikar, Farhan Hanif, Lucky Vijithananda & Thahir Javaid
colleagues.
