The BAYADA Way of Operating an Office: Home Care
May 2019
• BAYADA offices should have a similar, professional appearance. A professional image shows a sense of pride.
• Use BAYADA paint color schemes, and display BAYADA items such as signs, portrait reproduction of Mark Baiada, framed posters and a clock. The Signage and Wall Décor page on the portal provides guidelines on Internal and external signage as well as wall décor and paint colors.
• Neat and organized; clutter-free
• Clear walkways
• BAYADA Wear display. Best practice: Use a glass display case.
• Required postings for human resources, labor laws, and licensing
• Desks and wall space should keep personal items and pictures to a minimum to maintain professional appearance.
• Client paperwork should be kept confidential—not lying out on your desk.
• Holiday decorations are professional and respectful of diverse observances.
• Office employees should be easily identifiable to visitors. This can be done by displaying business cards in a business card holder, having a name plate on the desk, or by wearing name tags.
• Be mindful of first impressions. What impression does the office make on first-time visitors? Prospects? Are our values of compassion, excellence and reliability evident?
• Repaint walls, replace furniture, and clean carpets as necessary. Attention to the physical office environment can boost morale for all office employees.
• Alert office team for immediate response (callouts, new case, available field employee). Create excitement in the office by celebrating with noisemakers when new cases are received or shifts are filled (Easy button, bells, clapping, paging).
