A teacher educates students exactly the way he/she is.
Students are the most precious treasures that shape the
society. For this reason, it is essential that teachers are
well-equipped and always open to learning and
innovation. The teacher should follow all the innovations
in his / her field and know more than he / she will teach
the students.
The ideal teacher should be able to plan learning /
teaching activities well as required by the constructivist
approach; moving towards “student-centered” teaching,
to educate students to be able to think, question,
research, criticize and become multi-faceted individuals.
By moving from the confines of the classroom into the
globe at large, teaching and learning can become
inherently spontaneous and student-centered. From the
collaborative learning atmosphere resulting from the
distinctive interactions established outside the
classroom, to the deep learning that takes place when
learners have to put into practice "in the real universe"
what they have theorized from behind a desk, field
experiences are unparalleled in their training potential.
Field experiences can be formative early in the life of a
student and can encourage learners to continue in a field.
