CADDIE SERVICE
Process:
Our caddie program is based entirely on improving member and guest experiences throughout the golf course. Our caddies provide various duties throughout the Club that makes our members and their guests enjoy the time they spend at the Club. From con- cierge service at the staging area to transporting members from the parking lot, helping them at the driving range and on the course, caddies are an integral part of the Congres- sional community.
Caddies have a standard they must keep while at Congressional.
They report on duty at 6:00 AM and go directly to the caddie house.
They are not allowed to loiter around the grounds unless under special instructions.
They provide various duties while on property that enhances member and guests experiences.
They transport members and their guests as well as other team members from the parking lot to speci c areas throughout the Club.
They provide concierge service while called upon.
They help guests nd their way to the driving range as well as other areas of the facility.
On course caddies act as marshals to maintain pace of play by assisting the golfers by locating their golf balls, provide accurate distance, tending pins on the green, as well as moving golf carts to allow players to keep up the pace.
They maintain the golf course by replacing divots, lling in sand as well as repairing ball marks on the greens.
While on duty they must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
They must be properly dressed, have short trimmed hair and be cleanly shaven.
No earrings, tattoos or piercing are allowed. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
All players must be addressed as sir or ma’am.
Upon completion of the round, caddies must clean and count the players clubs as well as return them to speci c areas as requested.
They must return the six seater to the 18th hole if the group was walking.
Finally they must clean the caddie house before leaving for the day.
