COMMUNICATION
Process:
You will be well informed. You are responsible to become well versed and educated from Club emails, word of mouth, and documents given to you. We will use a variety of avenues to ensure each member of the Golf Operations team is informed of upcoming events, programs, and important Club information.
Practice Points:
Radio Communication is very important to be able to anticipate what members are going to need, want, or ask for. Radios and headsets must be worn at all times.
• Every team member will be assigned a radio and earpiece for the season.
• This is a part of your everyday uniform.
• Radio Channels: Channel 4– Golf, Channel 3– Clubhouse, Channel 2—G&G.
Tournament calendars and yers of upcoming events will be posted at everyone’s stations. In addition you will be given the same event guide the members receive at the beginning of each season.
• It is your responsibility to know the contents thoroughly. If you do not know the answer, it is ok. Get their contact information and follow up with them with the correct answer. It is more important to get the information right then give a quick answer that could be wrong.
• You are a promoter of Golf:
• Talk up to members, inform and be able to answer questions.
• Know what is happening in other departments around The Club, reference the front desk report to know what is going on at the club each day.
• If you do not know the answer, nd it and follow up in a timely manner.
Get to know what members/guests think about the club through conversation to help us better improve the member experience.
There will be weekly team meetings are mandatory for everyone to attend.
• The purpose of these meetings will be to review goals, upcoming events, and gain input from all team members.
