TEAM PROFILE
Process:
There are certain “characteristics-in-common” that our team members possess that have given Congressional Country Club a consistently superior ranking within the golf industry. These characteristics-in-common, or values, are the standards we consider desirable. They can be learned, developed and strengthened through good communi- cation and by example. These shared values will create a mutual respect among team members and will promote con dence and trust in the team by our club guests.
Practice Points:
INTEGRITY – Always do the right thing and never pass up an opportunity to provide a kind word or help to someone in need.
HONESTY – Create the kind of self you will be happy to live with all your life.
ENTHUSIASM – Develop an awareness of the in nite possibilities in each magic moment. Your passion, effort and hustle are important.
ENERGY – Your biggest task is not to get ahead of others, but to surpass yourself.
ATTITUDE – The right attitude toward your work, members and fellow team members de ne you and your success and the team’s success as a whole.
COMMITMENT – It is idealizing your work, turning a job into a mission, a task into a passion. Be committed to your team members, and doing the best job you can.
OPTIMISM – Be great now, be forgiving now, be tolerant now, be happy now, be successful now, instead of postponing positive and constructive living to some vague and inde nite future.
PROFESSIONALISM – Your demeanour, the words you choose, and how you carry yourself throughout your daily interactions are a big key to your continued growth and success. Always lead from the front with humility, understanding and compassion, holding those around you accountable for giving their very best.
