SYLLABUS
It is an academic document that provides course information and defines expectations and
responsibilities for students and teachers. Also, Syllabus is a guidance that the teacher is
going to use, to keep the order on what students will learn during the scholar time.
There are seven essential components to an academic syllabus:
- Instructor information
- General course information
- Course objectives
- Course policies
- Grading and evaluation
- Learning resources
- The Course Calendar.
Syllabus characteristics:
- Ensures the teaching and learning process
- Answers the basic questions what? for what ?, and How? The whole information
will be developed.
- It contributes to forming a professional future preparing students for a work
environment.
- Facilitates the student to develop their physical and mental abilities
- It is for subjects only.
