CALVERT STREET OVERVIEW
Founded in 1995, Calvert Street Capital Partners is a
Baltimore, Maryland-based investment firm focused on
the acquisition of industrial businesses in the lower middle
market. Over our history, we have focused on partnering
with skilled management teams to build larger and more
successful companies. We have invested over $500 million
across more than 60 acquisitions.
Given our history of acquiring and investing in family-
owned businesses, we understand and value the
importance of family legacies and serving as appropriate
stewards of the companies. We typically acquire family
businesses that do not have a successor or need capital
and / or expertise to help them grow. We value people –
everything we do is based upon personal relationships.
Calvert Street does not seek to become involved in the
day-to-day management of our portfolio companies.
Rather, our primary role is to work closely with the
management team to craft the strategic vision of the
business and ensure that management has the resources
necessary to achieve our agreed-upon goals.
