On the outskirts of Llandeilo, The Plough at Rhosmaen
p76 offers afternoon tea, Sunday lunch, takeaways and of
course fine dining lunchtime and evening, you might come
across a tribute band or two in the evening.

Llandeilo boasts only independent shops, so you will find
a unique purchase, visit chic boutiques such as Toast and
Variations. Browse the several art galleries.
Llandovery tempts visitors with independent shops and a
monthly farmers’ market. You can take a peek at the
Llandovery Livestock Market every Wednesday.
What to do.
Head to nearby Llyn Brianne Dam for a cycle or walk.
The Red Kite Feeding Centre at Llanddeusant offers
wildlife encounters and a great photo opportunity. From
Llandeilo, a scenic drive through the hills will be rewarded
with views of the spectacular Carreg Cennen Castle sitting
on limestone cliffs. You can hop on the Heart of Wales
Railway Line for a scenic train journey to the coast.
Want to see flamingoes? Take a trip down to Llanelli
Wetlands Centre p56 which is a brilliant place to get close
to wildlife. Open all year with something to see throughout
