We love our curries in Wales - in Talgarth, the The New
Gurkha Inn p80 offers a twist with delicious Nepali dishes
to eat in or take away. Alternatively, head up hill to The
Cock Hotel p78 in Bronllys where you can enjoy hearty
pub fare.
Stop for lunch or afternoon tea at the Old Railway Line
Garden Centre p56 repeatedly voted as the best garden
centre in the UK. You could pop over to Llyswen and enjoy
the pub favourites in the cosy Griffin Inn p80. For a taste of
something special, enjoy the luxury of Llangoed Hall p81.

In Hay-on-Wye the High Street is lined with pubs and
