Crew Academy team
The Crew Academy is the leading training provider for the super yacht industry, private households and high-end resorts.
The company launched in 2011 and provides professional, independently accredited training of the highest level. Courses cover interior and butler service, from entry level through to management level, purser training and a selection of specialist courses, taught by industry experts, exclusively for The Crew Academy.
Based in the UK and the south of France, with a capability of providing bespoke training, on-board or in-situ worldwide. We are proud to be one of only a handful of fully accredited G.U.E.S.T. training providers.
Setting new standards
All of The Crew Academy’s courses are accredited and certified.
We aim to deliver and exceed the standards the industry demands by working synchronously with GUEST. We strive for the content of all our courses to be the best they can be; thereby delivering insightful, well-regarded and accurate material that can act as a reference in daily operations for those serious about advancing in their chosen yachting careers.
Specialist trainers
Each of our specialist trainers are handpicked according to their professional experience and qualifications in their field as well as their abilities as an educator. Our team brings together senior former yacht crew and leaders in the global hospitality industry, who all have a breadth of proven experience delivering bespoke training to the yachting industry.
Practical and hands on learning
The Crew Academy believes practical learning is the best way to master new skills. We maintained this ethos when creating our courses by including our signature live service lunches, which allow the students to practise their newly acquired skills, by serving meals prepared by a professional yacht chef, to industry guests including industry figures, management companies, captains and heads of departments.
