We have written and spoken plenty about the
prospect of extending our facilities with more
grass and an artificial training/playing facility.
This is a huge undertaking and inevitably takes
time as procurement, business plans, grant
applications, planning consents and host of other
issues are grappled with. Nonetheless, be assured
that the Board and all of those who give of their
time for the green, white and black cause are on
the case, a case that opens up so many
possibilities to take us towards our centenary
celebrations!
On the pitch we have entered a flurry of activity in
the ‘close season’ and coaches of all teams are
hatching plans that will underpin success for the
24/25 season. To help us celebrate our special
year Lauren and Will, our tireless kit organisers,
have commissioned special kit for the anniversary
– details to come, but look out for announcements,
we expect to see a lot of green, white and black
around the area during the season.
Finally, a sentiment often heard at Gwernyfed
but one that can’t be over-used. Thank you to
the many, many people who commit to our
beloved club – we literally couldn’t do it without
you...
Every season sees us investing in the future and you would
expect nothing less as our sixtieth season gets underway...
