Grant access to necessary onboard systems and platforms, such as:
● Navigation and communication systems
● Inventory management software
● Crew scheduling tools

Issue security cards or keys to facilitate access to the vessel and restricted areas.
70. FAQ Document:
Create or update a FAQ document addressing common questions new crew members might have to help them settle in quickly.
First Day
71. Welcome Aboard:
Personally welcome the new crew member as they board the yacht and then assemble the entire crew in the mess for a welcome coffee / tea.
72. Welcome Kit:
Present a welcome kit containing yacht-branded items and essential supplies.
73. Cabin Tour:
Show the new crew member to their cabin and ensure everything is in order.
74. Yacht Tour:
Conduct a thorough tour of the yacht, including:
● Key areas (bridge, engine room, galley, crew mess, laundry)
● Safety equipment and procedures
● Crew areas and facilities
75. Team Introductions:
Facilitate 1-2-1 introductions to the entire crew, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
76. Onboarding Buddy:
Assign an experienced crew member as an onboarding buddy to provide guidance and support.
77. Essential Documentation: Provide essential documentation, such as:
● Crew handbook
● Safety manuals
● Yacht policies
