  Post-interview: Additional Steps
46. Thank You Email:
Send a thank-you email to all candidates, regardless of the outcome, thanking them for their time and outlining the next steps.
47. Team Discussion:
Discuss candidate performance with the HOD and other relevant team members involved in the hiring process.
48. Reference Checks:
Conduct thorough reference checks for top candidates, contacting previous employers or captains to verify information and gather insights.
49. Next Round or Offer:
Proceed to the next interview round (if applicable) or move to the job offer stage for the selected candidate.
50. Trial shift:
offer a potential 1⁄2 day or full days unpaid trial shift onboard for the selected candidate(s).
51. Record Keeping:
Maintain organised records of interview notes, scorecards, and candidate communications for future reference.
Post-interview: Candidate Feedback
52. Unsuccessful Candidates:
Politely inform unsuccessful candidates of the decision and offer to keep their information on file for future opportunities.
53. Successful Candidates:
For candidates moving forward, send a formal invitation to the next stage
54. Feedback:
Collect feedback from candidates on the interview process to improve future interviews.
