Gardens and grounds
Glanhenwye has lovely gardens which you’re
free to explore. Each cottage has its own
seating area designed to give you private space
to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.
Barbeque equipment is available if you need it.
The barbeques are kept under the arches along
with charcoal etc. Please feel free to help
yourself and return the cleaned barbeque to
where you found it at the end of your stay.
Tools etc are just inside our house on the shelf.
The seating for Hayloft is halfway up the drive
on the left hand side.
If you’ve got a dog with you, please make sure
you clean up after it and be aware we’ve got two
friendly cats at the house.
Please be aware that some of the trees in the
grounds are very large and have been known to
shed a branch or two during a storm. If the
weather is particularly windy, we advise you
avoid walking underneath the larger trees.
Otherwise, please enjoy the space. We just ask
that you’re aware of other guests as you explore
the grounds.
Please note: there is no access to the parkland
or driveway on the other side of the lane (by the
lodge house) as this is private property and not a
public footpath. Thanks for your cooperation.
