    Introducing Our New President.
I am lucky to have been associated with Brecon RFC since my late teens, this will be my first season as President of the Club and I am very much honoured and extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to fulfil the role.
Since joining the Board I have been immensely impressed by the amount of effort that has been put in by the whole of the Board to improve facilities within the Clubhouse and introduce the necessary measures to allow us to open up and trade safely. Our staff have been fantastic since re-opening and have all had to adapt to new working methods and have worked tirelessly to ensure that customers have an enjoyableexperience. Thanks to you all for your hard work.
It has been great to get back to watching rugby in the WRU Plate competition at Parc De PughovertheSummer. Ithas been refreshing to see such a
young squad of local players representing the Club at senior level. I wish Matthew, Wayne the players and managers all the best for the coming League 1 East programme.
Our success in years to come will depend upon our ability to continue to attract young people to play and enjoy the game of rugby. We have a strong Mini and Juniors section, supported by fantastic volunteerswhogiveuptheir time at training in the week and weekendsformatches. Any parents interested in getting their children involved in rugby, Brecon RFC is the place to start,withteamsfromUnder7 upwards.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge and thank our many sponsors for your continued support and to also welcome aboard some new sponsors for this season.
Your commitment to supporting the Club during tough economic times is very much appreciated and we look forward to providing a warm welcome for you at Parc De Pugh and the Clubhouse during the season.
Have a great season everyone.
Andy Lewis
President, Brecon RFC.
